Taking The Lid off of the Holiday Box

Amelia Sapienza, Staff Writer

November has come around, and it’s time to bring up the Holiday Season. Many places in the area such as Walmart and the Southern Park Mall have begun putting the holiday spirit throughout the stores by setting up lights and bringing out the reds and greens. Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and Christmas follows. But, what should you do to prepare?

There are a few things you can do to help make this Holiday season flawless. First, prepare the worthy kitchen for your Thanksgiving or Christmas feast. A lot will go down in here. Then, write your shopping list- food, gifts and all, and don’t be shy about discounts. Finally, make sure all invites are made and sent out. Make sure everyone invited RSVPs!

If these pro tips didn’t help you get hyped up for the season, there are a few classic films I suggest you binge, such as A Christmas Story, The Polar Express and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Some newer flicks would be Elf and the upcoming movie Last Christmas starring Emilia Clarke and Henry Golding.
