Since their surfacing in 2005, the Jonas Brothers have been singing their way into our hearts. The three brothers: Nick, Joe, and Kevin are from Wyckoff, New Jersey where they each found their shared interest in music. They each play guitar, with Joe and Nick both sharing lead vocals. Their first album, It’s About Time was released under Columbia Records, and sold 67,000 copies. They spent most of their time between the years 2005 -2007 touring as their on headliners as well as opening for performances such as The Cheetah Girls and Miley Cyrus. Around 2008 is when they started their acting career. They starred alongside Demi Lovato in Camp Rock, which aired on Disney Channel on June 20, 2008. This movie lead to the Jonas Brothers gaining their own T.V. show on the Disney Channel in 2009. The show Jonas ran for one season, although a second season of the show was released the next year under the alias Jonas L.A. this time moving the setting of the show to Los Angeles. This lead to the Camp Rock franchise sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. Shortly afterwards, their fourth album Lines, Vines and Trying Times.

The band announced they were breaking up in 2013, shortly after they cancelled their tour. Since the bands falling out, Nick Jonas began working on a solo album, from which he found commercial success through his single “Jealous.” More recently, Nick married Indian actress Priyanka Chopra. After parting ways with the band, Kevin founded a real estate/construction company, and is the co-CEO of The Blu Market company, which deals with social media influencers. He married Danielle Deleasa in 2009, and has two daughters. Joe Jonas formed the funk-pop band DNCE in 2015, where he contributed as the lead vocalist. Their song “Cake By the Ocean” peaked number 9 in the United States. Joe is engaged to actress Sophie Turner.

On February 28, 2019 the Jonas Brothers announced via social media that they reunited to release their single “Sucker” aired on March 1st. The vibrant music video for the single features all three of the Jonas partners, nicknamed the Jonas Sisters. “We literally spent a year basically doing therapy, working through some things, and figuring out what this new chapter would look like,” Nick Jonas revealed on The Late Show with James Corden. They have celebrated their return as week long guests on James Corden’s talk show including an episode of his famous segment, Carpool Karaoke. They have not announced any plans for more music, leaving fans on the edge of their seats to see what they do next.
