On Feb. 13th, 2019 the romantic comedy, “Isn’t it Romantic” premiered in theaters all over the globe. The motion picture stars, Rebel Wilson, Liam Hemsworth, and Priyanka Chopra. Wilson plays a New York architect named Natalie. She works hard but never gets noticed at her job. If things weren’t already bad enough, she gets mugged at a New York train station. She ends up getting knocked unconscious and wakes up in an alternate universe. In this universe , Natalie’s worst nightmare comes true when she is the star in a real-life romantic comedy.

According to rotten tomatoes the film has received a 69% overall. The motion picture also ranked number three when it debuted over President’s day weekend. “Isn’t it Romantic” also received over 14 million dollars in the opening week. Eric D. Snyder, writer for Crooked Marquee wrote “As enjoyable as the riffs on rom-com cliches are, the film’s best attributes are its positive messages for young women”. A New York Post writer, Johnny Oleksinski stated “Unlike other movies where women bang their heads, this one’s got a brain”. The majority of critics recommend going to see the comedy.
