Boys Golf Having a Victorious Season

The Boardman boys golf team has had an eventful year thus far. Most recently, they have defeated Canfield, scoring 167-171. The team has also won against Ursuline, 167-163, and against Lakeside with a score of 155-182. Other victories include: Howland, Warren G Harding, and Austintown Fitch. To add to their triumph, they have placed second in the AAC tournament as well as second in the league overall.

The Varsity team this year only includes one returning starter, Cole Christman. The other varsity team members are new to the team. These players include: Jim Goske, Justin Jones, Austin Jones, Ryder Kreps, Luke Ryan, Ryan Sam, and Joey Worsencroft.  

The team is lead by coach and Boardman High School history teacher, Mr. Terlesky. Coach Terlesky beams with excitement for his team’s victory this year. When asked for his thoughts on this season, he responded simply with, “I love my team.”
