On Friday, March 24th, 2017 in the Boardman Performing Arts Center, Boardman’s rock orchestra Project Mayhem will be performing at 7:00 p.m.

They started practicing for this show in October and the show is about two hours long. There are a variety of songs being performed in this show, some of them being “My House” by Flo Rida, “alive” by Pearl Jam, and “Come as you are” by Nirvana. The students that will be singing solos in this show are Robb Lewis, Sydney Boggs, Nathaniel Ams, Krista Ritz, Pat Kale, Kate Snyder and Will Armin.

                Boardman’s hit rock orchestra also had the honor of the world renowned Tran-Siberian Orchestra sit in on one of their practices.

“At first it was a little intimidating because they were the group that we based our whole show off of and we wanted to impress them,” said senior Maria Sera, who is an electric violist. “But they were all really sweet and we got to ask them questions and talk to them which helped out a lot.”

 

It’s going to be an exciting night filled with music and amazing talent.
