Mrs. Cordova is on her eighth year of teaching Oceanography and Physical Science and is looking forward to meeting and getting to know students. She has three children, Joe who’s 21, Nick who’s 20, and Annalisa who’s 16 and attends Boardman. Her favorite foods are Handel’s ice cream and heavenly hash. In her free time, she likes to run, be outside, and volunteer. Mrs. Cordova attended Brush High School in Lyndhurst, which is a suburb of Cleveland, then went to college at YSU where she got her Bachelor of Science in combined science and Master of Science in curriculum. In school, her favorite subject was English because she had awesome English teachers. After college, she taught Chemistry and Physics at Canfield, and managed a doctor’s office before coming to Boardman. One thing she has learned since coming to Boardman was the little things really do make a difference.
